Our Mission
Devout Consulting was founded on the belief that business can be a force for good. We provide expert managed IT services and cybersecurity to organizations nationwide. We do this work with excellence because the outcome matters twice: our clients get IT that simply works, and our company exists to serve a mission larger than itself.
That mission is to support the advocacy groups, ministries, and non-profits fighting sexual exploitation and human trafficking. The cartels and organized crime syndicates that profit from this industry operate their own IT teams, infrastructure, and security stacks. The organizations fighting back deserve to operate from the same position of technical strength. We are building Devout to become their IT provider of choice, and we work with qualified non-profits on engagement terms that fit their mission and budget.
We are not a charity. We are a professional IT consulting firm with a purpose.
Why This Mission
I founded Devout Consulting after my own recovery from a long addiction to pornography. I’m telling that story here because the work we do is built on it.
I was first exposed to pornography as a young teenager, in an environment where it was framed as normal, even something to brag about. What began as curiosity became a private compulsion, and that compulsion shaped nearly two decades of my life. It cost me relationships, opportunities, and a version of myself I am grateful to have left behind.
By God’s grace, and with the help of sex addiction therapy and Celebrate Recovery, I have been free from pornography since January 2023. I am no longer hiding.I also know, with the certainty only this kind of journey produces, what pornography and the industry behind it do to people. They isolate. They escalate. They produce shame that drives people deeper into the cycle. They fund a global market that traffics women and children. None of that is abstract to me.
Devout Consulting is how I take what I learned and put it to work. Every IT engagement, every cybersecurity deployment we run is built around supporting the organizations on the front lines of this fight, and stands as a public statement that companies can be built around what is true and good. If my story helps one person take a first step out, or one company partner with us for the right reasons, it is worth telling.

What We’re Fighting
Sexual exploitation is one of the most underreported and most damaging human rights crises of our time. It is not a distant problem. It happens in our cities, online, and in our communities. It is sustained by demand. We believe the people best positioned to fight it are the ones who name it honestly.
Human trafficking is the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person into labor or commercial sex. Survivors are often hidden in plain sight. We stand with the organizations doing frontline recovery, prevention, and survivor-care work.

Exploitation extends beyond trafficking. It includes any commercial or coercive sexualization of another person, especially of minors. We stand with those working to protect children, hold perpetrators accountable, and restore dignity to survivors.

Trafficking does not exist without demand. A growing body of research links commercial pornography to the normalization of sexual coercion and the financial pipeline that sustains exploitation. We stand with the organizations confronting demand-side drivers honestly, through education, recovery, and policy advocacy.
